John Quaintance Appointed Officer in Charge
The SUNY Sullivan Board of Trustees voted on leadership changes affecting both the college’s administration and governance. John “Jay” Quaintance was appointed Officer in Charge, effective July 28.

John J. Bonacic Scholarship for Public Service
The John J. Bonacic Scholarship for Public Service will be awarded to a June 2016 graduate from Sullivan, Orange, Ulster or Delaware counties who demonstrates good character and integrity, and who is planning to attend SUNY Sullivan full time for the 2016-17 academic year.

Professor Tom Lambert Granted Emeritus Status
During the Thursday, May 19th, meeting of the SUNY Sullivan Board of Trustees, a resolution passed unanimously to grant Professor Tom Lambert Emeritus status.
Progress Continues on Hope Farm at SUNY Sullivan
Work on the farm (which will provide local, sustainably-produced food for both SUNY Sullivan's culinary department as well as New Hope Community) has begun with the raising of dozens of 12-foot hemlock posts, which will support the farm's fence.
SUNY Sullivan in Federal Project to Expand College Access
Participating students will register as a full-time college student, taking a minimum of 12 credits per semester. Each student’s tuition and fees will be paid through Federal Pell Grants, plus State, local, and institutional aid to assure that students hold no financial responsibility.
